  Mortgage Flyer

Timeline:
April 2012

Comments:
I designed two flyers for an upcoming mortgage agent in the Greater Toronto Area. The final dimensions were 8" x 6".

The client required a turnaround time of less than 24 hours so I had decided to keep a similar theme between the two designs.

  BSA @ UoIT Logo

Timeline:
Fall 2009

Comments:
This was a submission at UoIT BSA logo design contest. Bangladesh Student Association is a social club at UoIT. The club unites international students from Bangladesh, Canadian students with a Bengali background and just any student with an interest in the Bengali culture.

The vector logo was drawn in Adobe Illustrator. The "b" in BSA represents an upside down flag pole raising the flag of Bangladesh. The heart shape between the "s" and the "a" represents the kind and loving nature of the people of Bangladesh.

The colors red and green represent the official colors of bangladesh. The yello/gold represents the golden map on the first flag of bangladesh. Finally, the blue represents the official color of UoIT.

  Faith Convenience Flyer

Timeline:
Summer 2009

Comments:
Faith Convenience is a mid-sized convenience store located at 1290 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. The store carries a wide variety of items, much more than a typical convenience store. They also offer their products at a lower rate then the other stores in the neighborhood which is also comparable to big chain stores like WalMart and Sobeys.

The flyer was designed to post inside the store, the advertising board outside the store and also to distribute in the neighborhood houses. Stock photos aquired from the official site of the products were used whenever possible, and the rest was photographed for the flyer.

  Personalized Face Card

Timeline:
Spring 2006

Comments:
The first assignment in the Graphics Design 1 course at UoIT was to design a face card (Jack/King/Queen) with a picture of the student. Instead of manipulating the Jack, Queen or King face card, I designed the Ace of Spades. I felt that even thought it wasn't a face card, it deserved to be one. This design decision was highly praised by the professor and received a high mark.

The card was designed in Adobe Illustrator. The photo was first auto-traced and then fine tuned manually.
